Can-shaped card reader+ 3-port Hub

I’m still no hight with Kingston’s thumb-sized MobileLite 9-in-1 card reader and this new can shaped memory card reader and USB hub doesn’t seems impressive. This new device uses only one USB port on your computer and offers three ports in return by using one. It features: Canned design Support SD, XD, MS, Mini SD, T-flash/Micro SD (*WITHOUT ADAPTER) Fully support USB 2.0 Plug and play Power LED indicator Small and portable Size: 59x59x49mm Weight: 60g System Requirements: Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000/XP I think this Can Card Reader + USB Hub is a bit expensive in terms of price and as my system also runs on Windows Vista, I think I will rather go for Kingston’s MobileLite 9-in-1 card reader for only $ 8.99 instead of getting this can like device for $17. Work sometimes gets a bit boring at office and you often feel the need for something which can change the tempo of work. This one is for all those who need something more than their iPods to refresh themselves. This hi-tech machine is known as a USB Missile Launcher. It comes with software that allows you control your missile launcher’s direction and aim at the precise area where you want to. Once you are ready with the directions and the target all you have to do is to use the provided software to fire up to three foam missiles in quick succession. Point to be noted here is that the antenna is also a USB port in the Samsung patent, which is a real good news. Source

USB memory card readers for travel

Going out for a skiing holiday to Alaska? A trip to the Amazon rainforest, or a trekking expedition in Tibet? Consider that you will not find a number of things there that we ordinarily take for granted. You will not find a decent toilet, you will not find good beer, and you will not find any easy means to store your videos or images on the tour. The disk space for your images and videos can quickly load up, and gone are the days of films that you could replace with a pack of new ones. This is the day of digital cameras, and their memories, though large, and by no means unlimited, as you will quickly find out on your trip. A few long movie shoots, or a few hundred images, can quickly overload your memory and leave you wanting for more disk space. Since it is hardly possible to zap out that laptop and transfer the stuff, you will likely be in need of an USB memory card reader. This handy device, coupled with an SD card, a Compact Flash card or an MMC card, can act as a large storage USB device. The card reader comes with not only reading capacity, but it can write as well, so it is very useful to travelers without any other memory storage medium. Many of these devices are multi card readers, capable of reading from, and writing into, different types of flash memory cards. Using one of these can be efficient if you are carrying devices with particular cards inside them.

Common Questions about Why You Should Recycle Your Mobile Phone

In today’s world, people are finding it more and more important to start recycling, or going green. With all of the advances in technology, new and better mobile phones are being introduced every day. With these advancements, older phones become out dated and obsolete. Properly disposing of our unused mobile phones, is a big step in saving our planet. Over 200 million mobile phones are thrown out every year. This increasing problem has created many ways for us to properly dispose of our old phones. It has become easy to not only to recycle mobile phone, but it is even possible for us to make a little money in the process. There are many companies on the internet that will pay us for our old and unused mobiles. Some of these companies even provide free shipping. Recycle mobiles are also being accepted by some phone operators in an exchange for discounts on newer models. Older recycle mobiles may not put money in your pocket, but there are still many places that will except them and properly recycle these phones. Many people do not realise how harmful these phones can be to our environment once they reach a land fill. These phones contain some toxins like arsenic and zinc. Also, their electronic wiring contains lead and copper products. Brominated flame retardants are used on phone circuit boards, cables and cases. This could cause certain types of cancer. If these old phones can’t be fixed, they can be broken down and recycled, to make many other types of products. Why not think therefore about recycling your old phone rather then leaving it in your desk drawer or disposing of it in a landfill.
