One of the world’s first complete security suites has been launched on a USB flash drive by a Security company, as claimed by them. Laptop users and road warriors are the major targets of this flash drive. According to Yoggie Security Systems, the manufacturers, this system has offloaded all the major security functions, like anti spam and anti-virus.
This USB unit is basically a system with Linux base having 128 MB memory, along with 520 MHz of Intel Pentium chip. According to the company’s claim a few major highlights of the system are, “full corporate level internet protection from all types of hacking, virus, malware, worms and other attacks - both current and future - while boosting computer performance by saving CPU, memory and disk space.”
After being inserted into the USB port, it starts monitoring all the traffic of internet. It isolates the IP address of laptop, whereas reveals its own. According to the company, this kind of management would act as a physical barrier for all the incoming threats.
Founder and Chief Executive of Yoggie Security, Shlomo Touboul, “The growing threat from internet borne attacks to computing devices and the negative user experience with heavy software security suites, that unacceptably slow their computers, has led us to develop the Yoggie Pico.”
He also declared that the key features of offloading and splitting up the security functions acted as breakthrough. Moreover, users would be able to experience the best in the matter of performance as well as security.
