Sensing the ever-growing need for the ultra secure USB flash drives, Gemalto has rolled out its new USB smart cards that offer somewhat different kinda security. The card dubbed Network Identity Manager will give the users protection against phishing as users need to have USB stick plugged into the system before gaining access to their secret files and bank accounts.
Moreover, it doesn’t need any specialized software and is compatible with all the standard browsers. Gemalto anticipates to keep a tab on mounting phishing problems in America with the new USB smart cards. No words on availability.
