The people from the house of Mandriva have presented the world with their 2GB USB flash drive with the Mandriva Linux installed in advance. They made waves in December 2006 with this release and made quite a recognition for themselves.

And now at this stage they boast of releasing even more influential USB, having capacity of storing data upto 4GB. This one supports the KDE-based Mandriva Linux 2007 operating system.

Sir Olivier Blin, Live systems Developer from the house of Mandriva, quoted that-

On this upgraded Mandriva Flash version, the space allocated to the system files can be chosen at first boot. This makes it possible to install more updates and additional packages, in response to user feedback we got on the initial version.

What do we have to say on this one, its simply a piece of marvel for the shopper.

It has wide range of functionalities under its belt. Easy to carry and thus can be taken all over, infact, wherever you want. One can just make it handy while dealing and managing their data no matter what it may be. You can also perceive it to be a 3-D accelerated desktop with Linux ready! Great news for the frequent desktop users is that it does not alter the configurations on the host computer. it even recognizes any kind of hardware just in a jiffy. It’s quite a cool thing I may say!

Following are the built-in softwares that come with it:

• KDE 3.5.4
