Pretec is now claiming its i-Disk RFID flash drive to be the smallest in the world. The drive has a meager size of 45.7 x 12.2 x 2.2 mm and is said to be about one-fourth of the size of run of the mill flash drives. These i-Disk RFID flash drives will come in storage capacities from 128MB to 1GB and are primarily intended for usage in places such a hospitals, airports etc. An RFID reader will be employed to read the data on the drives. The its i-Disk RFID flash drive is expected to debut in Q2 of this year.
