Intex has launched UFD 512 Slim USB disk which the company says can be said to be the worlds first and thinnest multipurpose 512 MB USB disk.
The dimension of the disk is 32 x24 mm and is only 2.1mm in thickness.
The UFD can be termed as a ‘3C’ disk as it can be used as conventional USB disk, MMC/SD card and mobile/ PDA card. The disk is USB2.0 compatible and thus offers high storage, download and transfer of the data.
The Product Manager, Intex technologies said that the plans to launch the 1 GB and 2 GB versions are also in the pipeline.
The disk has been priced at Rs. 1,200 or $27 USD aprox.
