Linksys has released a Wireless-G USB adapter that finds Wi-Fi signals without requiring you to boot up the computer.

The device has a built-in Wi-Fi finder which allows you to find a hotspot.

The device detects Wireless-G and Wireless-B networks with a simple push of a button. It also displays the pertinent information on an easy-to-read LCD screen.

It can also be set up to look only for open networks.

The technology is so smart that it can also filter out 2.4GHz interface from Microwaves, cordless phones and even Bluetooth devices.

The device is available at Amazon.com for $79.04.
