in-Stat’s latest research has forecasted that till 2008 Wireless USB will become the most likely way to connect all the equipments to your PC. This new wireless system also works in the same manner as cabled USB’s do, but the only difference is, it uses a short wave radio technology to overtake all our wired kits that connects to our PC. According to Brian O’Rourke an analyst at In-Stat: Certified WUSB is designed to replace USB cables on the PC desktop, as well as to facilitate temporary connections between mobile and fixed devices, such as portable digital audio players and PCs, or digital still cameras and printers The study also reveals that USB powered wireless modems are expected to exceed 22 million units shipped by 2012, a growth of 53% per year. However, some devices are already available that connects to our PC wirelessly but as far as concerned about hubs and other connection kits, the devices will reportedly hit the market sometimes later this year.
