These chic moreish USB memory keys for the fashion conscious are an upshot of the alliance between Philips and Swarovski. The keys are from ‘Active Crystals’ and come protected by a user password to keep the data safe and sound. Festooned with swarovski crystals, there are four models in the series, the Heart Ware, Heart Beat, Lock In and Lock Out. Heart Ware and Heart Beat offer storage capacity of 1GB and can be worn as a luxury pendant. The Lock In and Lock Out also boast 1GB capacity and can be attached to a keychain. Century presents 16 ports USB hub

Now, to heighten this segment Japan-based company Century has rolled an unsightly USB hub that comes with 16 ports to connect your USB peripherals to your computer. This new device measures 11.6 x 6.3 x 6.7cm and comes equipped with built-in AC adapter that bumps only 22.5W of electricity. However, this 16 port hub actually requires 40W if all ports but still I think it is not bad if users gets 16 ports at one go to connect their USB peripherals to their computer. Toshiba offers world’s first 200GB external portable hard drive

To strike the market Toshiba, the first name among hard drive manufacturers unit has introduced its 200GB external portable storage device that comes equipped with 2.5 inches hard drive inside and 8MB buffer to facilitate temporary storage. This USB 2.0 portable external hard drive comes packed with fingerprint and scratch resistant black aluminum housing and touts aloud for its compatibility with Mac or Windows computers. It sports NTI Shadow backup software for quick and trouble-free data archiving and measures only 0.94 x 3.5 x 5.6 inches.
